StableOdds Racing uses the smallest practical cookie set. The marketing site at stableodds.ai uses zero analytics or marketing cookies. The application at app.stableodds.ai uses only essential session and preference cookies.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser at the request of a website. Cookies can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another domain whose code is loaded into the page). Cookies have an expiry date after which they are automatically deleted.
2. Cookies on stableodds.ai (marketing site)
We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free. There are no analytics, marketing, or social-tracking cookies set by stableodds.ai. The site loads no third-party scripts that set tracking cookies.
3. Cookies on app.stableodds.ai (application)
The application sets the following essential cookies:
- Session cookie (sb-access-token) — Supabase Auth session. Required to keep you logged in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, expires at the end of session or 7 days, whichever is earlier.
- Refresh token (sb-refresh-token) — Supabase Auth rotating refresh token. Required to extend logged-in sessions. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, expires after 30 days.
- Preference cookie (stableodds-prefs) — stores your UI preferences (dark theme is default; region filters; compact-vs- card view). Not used for analytics. Expires after 1 year.
4. Why no consent banner on the marketing site
UK GDPR and ePrivacy require consent for non-essential cookies. We don't set any non-essential cookies on the marketing site, so a banner would be performative. We add one only if a future product change introduces non-essential cookies.
5. Your control
You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Clearing the application cookies will log you out and reset your UI preferences. The marketing site is unaffected.
